Bills scratch built model of the Kingston Peridot H591, The real vessel was tragically lost with all hands, The Kingston Peridot sailed from Hull on 10 January 1968 with a crew of 20 on the 26 January she was fishing off north-east Iceland in foul weather and she was having difficulties with ice build-up on the ship, 29 January one of her life rafts was washed ashore. The model has been built to a good representation of how she was at the time of her loss.
