I have just recently purchased my first model kit, and am having GREAT fun building it. I found your site in one of my many searches trying to find model pond boat plans. You have a great site, please continue what you are doing. I would like to model a sort of club here , as you have done your group there.

I have several boats which up to now I have sailed on the lincolns clubs water at North hykeham, but the road around the lake is so bad you could damage a car, I own a rclaser (good boat) a thames barge \little~un) a r/c corvette, a raf fire tender 1952, and a HFM day boat, I have just sold a bristol pilot cutter, a french one metre, a comtesse,and a fiesta, sail boats are best, there is more skill required in sailing them as the motive power is one hard to see ,(the wind) and not an electric motor. however each to his own, I intend to join the vintage model boat group and join in the fun in Hull,

Loved the photos and videos of your boats! You have a great website and club, keep up the beautiful work! Best of luck and many Happy sailings. I am originally from Newfoundland but Moved to Nova Scotia in 1990.I'm been picking at Model boats since I was 12 and now I'm 43 and still love doing it.Just bought 3 sheet drawings from Glasgow,UK of a Motor Trawler and going to scratch Build It.Just started last week.Model will be 42.5 inches when complete.Take care and Wish I was Closer to Sail with you guys...
