We are a group of individual people who regularly meet up at our local public park to share comments and our interest in marine modelling making, and of course sail our newly built models, the boating pond is a lovely free amenity and well used by the public of Hull & Surrounding areas, more on where and when on our contact us page. More About Us!
We are not a model boat club but enjoy modelling and sailing at our local public park where Modeller's and visitors to the boating Pond are growing rapidly as you will see by the amount of photo's of models on these pages, a good thing about free sailing we see different faces each week.
The individuals began meeting in 2000 to encourage and promote the hobby of marine modelling in all it's guizes.
This website will hopefully provide a brief insight into it's patrons and the charitable events we have attended over the years. |
| Many of the group patrons are either disabled or retired and this is perhaps reflected in the extremely high standard of the models that they produce. Patrons vary in age from 6 to 90 yrs and everyone is made to feel very welcome. The informal structure of the Group is it's undoubted attraction and continued success. There are no Fees or rules, regulations or formal meetings to contend with. Like minded modellers have grouped together utilizing basis common sense, fair-play and a willingness to help and encourage others into this most rewarding hobby. |
